Building new, used and reconditioned pallets, crates, and
shipping containers for customers thoughout the Mid-West.
Remanufacturing a pallet reduces waste by generating a new
pallet from parts of an old pallet.
Brinck Lumber does more than remanufacture pallets to help
customers. We collect cardboard from customers when we deliver
pallets and then bale it for recycling.
We bale and recycle nearly 50 tons or cardboard annually.
Brinck Lumber also recycles scrap metal, which includes numerous
saw blades, steel strapping, and nails used in the manufacturing
process, totaling nearly 4 tons in the past year.
Scrap wood pieces not used for remanufacturing are burned
in the winter to heat manufacturing buildings.
Brinck Lumber received a special distinction for business
inherently assisting businesses in waste reduction and recycling.
In 2004, Brinck Lumber was recognized as an "outstanding
business recycling service" for our efforts to help the
business community in recycling and waste reduction.
